News media now can download photos that accompany IANR News Service stories from the Web. The site includes an archive of news photos distributed in 2005. New photos are added as their accompanying stories are distributed to media. The site also features a limited image gallery of stock photos. This service is free to news media. Teens and cars
Most teens are eager to buy their first car. UNL Extension's Autotown is a Web tool that helps teens go through the steps to purchase a car and explore ongoing expenses. They can prepare a personal budget to see whether they can afford the car they've got their eye on.
Soybean rust info
IANR's Trageting Soybean Rust site is a one-stop resource for Nebraska soybean producers who are on the lookout for the new disease. It features information on managing soybean rust, photos to help identify rust, a list of registered fungicides and the latest forecasts on the disease's movement nationwide.
Soil fertility software
Crop producers will find a variety of information at IANR's soil fertility and nutrient management Web site. This site offers downloadable software developed by University of Nebraska-Lincoln agronomists, including Fertilizer Chooser, Hybrid-Maise and Yield Check, all developed by IANR agronomists.
