Live-streamed discussion to explore the future of food and agriculture

Lincoln, Neb. — The Clayton K. Yeutter Institute of International Trade and Finance at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln will offer a live-stream of the Washington International Trade Association’s discussion of the future of food and agriculture. While the discussion is occurring in Washington D.C. the live stream can be viewed Sept. 13 from 8 – 10:15 a.m. in the College of Law Hamann Auditorium, 1875 N. 42nd St., Lincoln. 

The event is part of WITA’s signature North American Free Trade Agreement Series. Earlier this summer the U.S. Trade representative announced its negotiating objectives to modernize NAFTA. The discussion will feature: 

  • Jaime Castaneda: Senior Vice President for Strategic Initiatives and Trade Policy, U.S. Dairy Export Council & National Milk Producers Federation
  • Gary Martin: President & CEO, North American Export Grain Association
  • Melissa San Miguel: Senior Director of Global Strategies, Grocery Manufacturers Association
  • Tom Stenzel, President & CEO, United Association Fruits & Vegetables

The discussion will be moderated by Ambassador Darci Vetter, Diplomat in Residence at the Clayton K. Yeutter Institute of International Trade and Finance.

Audience participants will have the opportunity to ask questions of the panel.
