News media now can download photos that accompany IANR News Service stories from the Web. The site includes an archive of news photos distributed in 2005. New photos are added as their accompanying stories are distributed to media. The site also features a limited image gallery of stock photos. This service is free to news media. Crop producers will find a variety of information at IANR's soil fertility and nutrient management Web site. This site offers downloadable software developed by University of Nebraska-Lincoln agronomists, including Fertilizer Chooser, Hybrid-Maise and Yield Check, all developed by IANR agronomists. |

Communities Receive Funds for Tree-planting
LINCOLN, Neb. The tree-planting state continues its tradition by announcing the 2009 Trees for Nebraska Towns grant projects. The Nebraska Statewide Arboretum, Inc. awarded tree-planting grants of over $200,000 to 27 projects in 23 Nebraska communities.
