Livestock Insurance Workshops Begin in February
LINCOLN, Neb. — A livestock insurance workshop will teach producers and insurance agents the importance of protection against price volatility in the livestock market, a University of Nebraska-Lincoln livestock marketing specialist said.

During the workshop, participants will discover the differences between insurance, futures and options, review policy provisions and underwriting rules, learn how to create minimum price hedges for feeder cattle, fed cattle and hogs and hedge cattle feeding margins.
