Association for Dressings and Sauces Honors UNL Food Allergy Program

LINCOLN, Neb. — The University of Nebraska-Lincoln's Food Allergy Research and Resource Program was presented with the Association for Dressings and Sauces 2009 Technical Achievement Award.

The Technical Achievement Award is given when outstanding work in furthering the dressing and sauce industry has been accomplished. Steve Taylor, director of FARRP and professor in the food science and technology department accepted the award for outstanding leadership, research and education in the field of food allergens, which has benefitted the dressing and sauce industry.

The award was presented during the ADS' Technical Meeting in Fort Worth, Texas, this spring.

The Association for Dressings and Sauces is an international trade association representing the manufacturers of salad dressings and condiment sauces and suppliers to the industry.
