The University of Nebraska–Lincoln’s Institute of Agriculture and Natural Resources will host three East Campus Tailgates during the 2026 Husker football season on Sept. 19, Oct. 3 and Nov. 21. The free events are open to the public, with free parking on East Campus and shuttle service available before and after each game.

The University of Nebraska–Lincoln’s Institute of Agriculture and Natural Resources is inviting Husker fans from across Nebraska to make East Campus part of their game-day tradition during the 2026 football season.

IANR will host three East Campus Tailgates this fall ahead of Nebraska home football games against North Dakota, Maryland and Ohio State. The free gatherings will be held Sept. 19, Oct. 3 and Nov. 21 at the Nebraska East Union, 1705 Arbor Drive.

The tailgates offer alumni, students, families, faculty, staff and friends of the university a place to gather and connect before heading to Memorial Stadium.

Each tailgate will begin four hours before kickoff and conclude one hour before kickoff. The events are free and open to the public, and no registration is required.

East Campus has long been a gathering place for Nebraskans connected to agriculture, natural resources and the university’s land-grant mission. The tailgate series provides an opportunity to reconnect with the university, spend time on East Campus and celebrate Husker game day alongside people from across Nebraska.

Free parking will be available on East Campus for each tailgate. Shuttles will also be available before and after the games, providing transportation between East Campus and Memorial Stadium.

The 2026 East Campus Tailgate schedule includes:

  • Sept. 19 — Nebraska vs. North Dakota
  • Oct. 3 — Nebraska vs. Maryland (Homecoming)
  • Nov. 21 — Nebraska vs. Ohio State

All tailgates will be held at the Nebraska East Union, 1705 Arbor Drive in Lincoln.
