The Crop Science Society of America (CSSA) has named Nebraska professor Tom Clemente a recipient of their Crop Science Research Award, presented to recognize outstanding research contributions in crop science.
Five Nebraska faculty and administrators have earned national awards from the American Society of Animal Science — including Chancellor Ronnie Green, who has been selected to receive the national association’s most prestigious honor.
On June 10, nearly 350 people turned out on East Campus for the Burr-Fedde and Friends Reunion. Attendees included residents from every decade since Burr and Fedde were built in 1957, and came from as far away as Kodiak, Alaska.
The Association of Public and Land-grand Universities Board on Agriculture Assembly Academic Programs Section has named Doug Golick, assistant professor of entomology at the University of Nebraska – Lincoln, a winner of their 2017 Innovative Teaching Award.
