Faculty, students and alumni from the Department of Biological Systems Engineering at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln were honored with several awards at last month’s American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers annual international meeting in Boston.
The Nebraska National Guard presented Judy Wu-Smart, assistant professor in the Department of Entomology at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, with the Patriot Award at a ceremony on July 9 in Lincoln.
University of Nebraska-Lincoln doctoral student, Karen Da Silva, has been honored with the I.E. Melhus Graduate Student Symposium award from the American Phytopathological Society.
