2015 IANR Roads Scholar Tour.

August 8, 2016

Lincoln, Neb. — On Aug. 10-11 several new faculty and staff from the Institute of Agriculture and Natural Resources at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln will participate in the IANR Roads Scholar Tour. The tour allows new IANR faculty and staff to see and experience various regions of Nebraska.

This year the two day tour is packed with stops including the Eastern Nebraska Research and Extension Center, Raising Nebraska, the West Central Research and Extension Center, Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture, Central Public Power and Irrigation and the South Central Agricultural Laboratory.

The annual tour was first held in 2008. It was organized to help new faculty and staff learn more about Nebraska businesses and UNL facilities throughout the state. The tour also provides new hires an opportunity to meet innovative people in the region.
