What is your position at UNL?
Extension educator for Click2SciencePD, which is an interactive site for trainers, coaches, site directors and frontline staff or volunteers working in out-of-school time STEM programs serving children and youth.

What drew you to UNL?
UNL is my alma mater and I loved my educational experiences here. UNL also provides opportunities to improve the lives of people across Nebraska and the nation, which is very appealing.

What aspect of working in an educational setting do you enjoy the most?
The opportunity to collaborate on interdisciplinary teams to make a positive impact on the lives of others.

What do you consider your greatest achievement?
Successfully defending my master's thesis and earning my master's degree.

What is something that most people don't know about you?
I have a shark phobia. But I momentarily overcame my fear and went snorkeling in Fort Lauderdale, FL last spring!

What is your life like outside of work?
My husband and I are busy preparing for the arrival of our first child, due at the end of April. I enjoy going for runs with my dog, Ruby, and spending my free time reading, cooking, working on art projects and watching movies.
