Why did you decide to come to UNL?
I chose the University of Nebraska because of its superior agriculture program. I have wanted to attend this school and be a Husker since I was a little kid. Both of my parents attended the University of Nebraska so that was also a driving factor. I simply cannot think of a better school or curriculum in any subject.

What is your favorite thing about UNL?
I think the community has to be my favorite part. It is a large school with a small school feel. I also enjoy that the professors, even in large classes, make an effort to communicate on a personal level rather than a student just being another face in the crowd.

What is your favorite class you have taken so far and why?
My favorite class so far has been Entrepreneurship 388. This class not only taught me valuable life lessons about operating a business but our professor, Dave Lambe, made it an absolute blast. It was hands down my favorite class and favorite professor thus far.

What are your plans post-graduation?
I plan to use my skills acquired at UNL to enter the agricultural sales industry. I think I could thrive in seed and chemical sales.

What’s life like outside of school?
Life outside of class is also a great time. I was so surprised how many people you know from such a large school. It seems that everywhere you go, you run into someone that you have networked with. Outside of class and campus it seems that the students still remain in a community and make it a great place every day.
