The Richard P. Kimmel and Laurine Kimmel Charitable Foundation, Inc. is pleased to announce the 2025 Catalyst Grants. This program encourages projects that align with the mission of the Kimmel Orchard and Vineyard Educational Foundation — advancing education and innovation in agriculture and sustainability.
These two-year grants aim to strengthen strategic partnerships with the University of Nebraska–Lincoln’s Institute of Agriculture and Natural Resources (IANR), Nebraska Extension and the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources (CASNR) by expanding on KOVE’s mission of research, education, engagement and agritourism.
Last year’s pilot funded five projects, and KOVE is excited to build on that momentum with a new round of proposals.
Applications are open to University of Nebraska faculty and staff in IANR, Nebraska Extension, and CASNR. Applicants must submit their proposals by July 1, 2025. The maximum grant duration is two years.
