Two annual publications from the Office of Research and Innovation are available online.
The 2024-25 Nebraska Research Report is a key University of Nebraska–Lincoln marketing publication primarily geared toward a national audience of peer institutions, Big Ten academic leaders, federal program officers, partners, alumni and friends, and scientific and higher education media. Research and creative projects from all nine academic colleges are featured, and dozens of faculty members are included in the report. Topics include research, scholarly and creative impact; economic development; major external honors and recognitions; early career awards; and a message from Jennifer Nelson, interim vice chancellor for research and innovation.
The cover features an artistic representation of how funnel-weaving spiders’ webs can change how they receive noise depending on the environment.
Printed copies of an abridged impact report are available. To request copies, contact Ashley Washburn, director of research communications.
Major Sponsored Programs and Faculty Awards booklet
A second publication, the 2025 Major Sponsored Programs and Faculty Awards booklet, also is available. The booklet includes major grants and sponsored awards that were active in fiscal year 2025, including early career awards; fellowships and other major recognitions and honors; books, chapters, articles and creative literature published by the faculty; performances, exhibitions and other creative activities; patents, licensing agreements, and National Science Foundation I-Corps teams; conference presentations; and mentors/mentees who participated in undergraduate research programs.
Both publications were released in conjunction with Nebraska Research Days in late November.
