The American Red Cross is hosting a summer blood drive from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. June 4 at St. Mark's on the Campus, 1309 R St. in Lincoln.
The need for blood typically increases in the summer while donations drop due to vacations and natural disasters. This is a great time to consider donating.
As an incentive, those who donate are eligible for a $15 gift card and will be entered into a drawing for a $7,000 gift card. For more information and to make a donation appointment, check the Red Cross blood donation website.
