Nebraska Plant Science Symposium is April 7


The University of Nebraska–Lincoln will host the 2026 Nebraska Plant Science Symposium, “Driving Innovation: New Frontiers in Plant Science 2.0” from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 7, at the Nebraska Innovation Campus Conference Center. 

The symposium is part of the Corteva Symposium Series and is open to undergraduate and graduate students, postdoctoral researchers, faculty and professionals with an interest in plant science, agronomy and agricultural innovation.

The symposium will bring together leading researchers, industry scientists and emerging scholars to discuss innovative advances shaping the future of plant science. Topics will span plant genetics and breeding, crop physiology, biotechnology, sustainability and translational research connecting discovery to real-world agricultural impact.

This event offers a valuable opportunity to engage with interdisciplinary research, explore career pathways across academia and industry and connect with peers and experts working at the forefront of plant science. The program will include invited keynote lectures, scientific talks and networking opportunities designed to foster collaboration and innovation.
