Submissions, attendees sought for UNMC’s AI in Healthcare Conference

The University of Nebraska Medical Center will host its inaugural AI in Health Conference on April 21, bringing together clinicians, researchers and educators to explore how artificial intelligence is reshaping care, education and discovery.

The April 21 event will be on UNMC’s Omaha campus in the Michael F. Sorrell Center for Health Science Education, Truhlsen Events Center, 619 South 42nd St. The theme is Shaping the Future of Care. Register to attend by April 14.

Organizers invite proposals for both digital and print poster presentations in the areas of education, research and clinical care. Submissions are due by Feb. 27. See the conference website for submission requirements and conference details.

The AI in Health Conference will bring together faculty, students and staff from all University of Nebraska campuses, Nebraska Medicine and Children’s Nebraska to explore ways artificial intelligence can transform education, power new research and improve clinical outcomes.

The free conference will also build readiness to engage in AI technologies and highlight innovation and expertise in AI applications through poster presentations, plus a keynote speaker.
