IANR Global Engagement to host USDA Foreign Ag Service

Lincoln, Neb. — The Office of Global Engagement will be hosting a brown bag lunch with Beth Bwembya, International Program Specialist for the Borlaug Fellowship Program-Africa at the United States Department of Agriculture, on Nov. 12. Bwembya will be sharing information with UNL faculty interested in applying to host short-term scholars through the Borlaug Fellowship Program.

The Department of Food Science and Technology is currently hosting two fellows from Rwanda for the “Food Safety & Processing” call of 2015. The fellows will be sharing their experience during lunch.  

The 2015 award was up to $36,000 and involved an 8-12 week training program and a trip to the fellow's home country for the UNL mentor. If interested, please RSVP by Nov. 10
