IANR Liaison Committee - seeking nominations

Lincoln, Neb. —The IANR Liaison Committee’s main purpose is to represent the faculty as an advisory group to the IANR Vice Chancellor. The committee meets quarterly with Vice Chancellor Mike Boehm and Associate Vice Chancellor Rich Bischoff to discuss and act on concerns of the Institute of Agriculture and Natural Resources. Recent topics of discussion have included graduate student healthcare costs, changes to promotion and tenure process, and updates to activity insight. Minutes of past meetings and contact information for current Liaison Committee member can be found on our website.

 The Liaison Committee is seeking nominations for new members. Please consider nominating yourself or a colleague to serve on the committee. To submit a nomination, send nominee’s name, rank, unit, work location and apportionment to the Liaison Committee, ianrliaison@unl.edu by March 20th at 5:00 pm. According to the IANR bylaws, the committee shall comprise broad faculty representation by giving consideration to diversity, and member’s work location, division/unit of IANR, and academic function.
