About Bridget Nelson:
I am a University of Nebraska –Lincoln alumna who grew up on a farm in Osceola, Nebraska. Here at the university, I received my bachelor’s degree in broadcast production along with a minor in Spanish. After college, I had the honor to work as a two-year temporary video production specialist for HuskerVision. I also worked at HuskerVision as a student worker during my college career. I am now thrilled to have the opportunity to work for IANR Media as their Producer III!
What is your position at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln?
My position here at the university is Producer III at IANR Media. I am the producer of Market Journal.
What drew you to the University of Nebraska–Lincoln?
What drew me to the university was the great atmosphere, friendly people and of course Husker football!
What aspect of working in an educational setting do you enjoy the most?
My favorite aspect of working in an educational setting is being able to learn something new every day, and being able to share it with others through my work.
What do you consider your greatest achievement?
My greatest achievement is being able to work for IANR Media as their Producer III.
What is something that most people don’t know about you?
Something that most people don’t know about me is that I used to have 20 farm cats back in the day, and of course I knew all of their names.
What is your life like outside of work?
Outside of work I enjoy watching Netflix with my cat, talking on the phone for hours with my boyfriend, friends and family, bargain shopping and exercising.
