Why did you decide to come to UNL?
I chose to come to UNL for a variety of reasons, the first one being the PGA Golf Management Program. There isn't a bad thing I have to say about it. Upon my visit here, I knew that I could better myself as an individual and a player with the great staff and great facilities UNL has to offer. Our advising and teaching staff made the decision to come here easy. However, what sold me on choosing UNL were the facilities we are able to use, from the simulators and teaching lab, to the outdoor and indoor facilities we are able to use at Wilderness Ridge. They are some of the best facilities a PGA program has to offer out of all the colleges across the nation. The second reason I chose to come here was the small town feel in what is a bigger city. I can freely walk around campus and downtown and feel safe. I don't feel like a stranger or someone who doesn't belong here. There's a sense of truly belonging here at UNL. The third is the atmosphere, which is my favorite thing about UNL. There is truly no other place like UNL.

What is your favorite thing about UNL?
My favorite thing about UNL is the atmosphere. I love the small town feel in a relatively bigger city that feels like a hometown. You don't get that feeling with very many colleges. Walking anywhere on campus, you feel a certain vibe. This vibe is indescribable when it comes to the changing of seasons and Husker game days.

What is your favorite class you have taken so far and why?
My favorite class I have taken so far would have to be astronomy. The material we cover and talk about is fascinating. It's sometimes hard to fathom the magnitude and scale of what we know and what we have figured out in regards to our universe. It's a very interesting class.

What are your plans post-graduation?
My plan for post-graduation is to continue my career in the golf business. My dreams and goals are to become a head golf professional at top-rated private facility. Understanding, of course, that this means I'll have to work my way up to this position.

What’s life like outside of school?
Life outside of school is great. Having the major I do, of course I spend a lot of my time golfing and practicing. This includes doing anything from running, to working out, to playing and competing in other sports and intramurals. Spending time outside doing whatever comes to mind is something I don't complain about. I'd rather be outside than inside at any given time. I love spending time with family and friends. As college gets busier and internships start to take up a majority of my time, I cherish the time I'm able to spend with my family and friends. Sometimes the most random, short-lived moments are the ones that you enjoy the most. I'm not too picky of an individual. I'll do whatever comes to mind as long as I'm spending time with family and friends.
