Why did you decide to come to the University of Nebraska-Lincoln?

After graduating high school, I started to apply to universities from back home and abroad and UNL was one of them. I saw and heard a lot about UNL before coming here, but most important was the quality of education and scholarship opportunities for international students.

What is your favorite thing about the University of Nebraska-Lincoln?

The thing I love most about UNL is the diversity and inclusion of the UNL community. I feel at home when I am here at the university.

How has diversity and inclusive excellence played a role in your CASNR experience?

The diversity and inclusive excellence have helped me a lot in my CASNR experience through opening doors of opportunity to all students. Being an international student sometimes feels overwhelming but being a member of the diversity and inclusion committee in the ASUN student government has helped to have someone to talk to regardless of school activity.

What is your favorite class you have taken so far and why?

My favorite class is ALEC 477 (Leadership and Motivation) so far. I like this class because we learn real life experience, human behavior at work, and how to keep pushing when things get harder.

What are your plans post-graduation?

My plans after graduation is to find a job and pursue higher education.

What’s life like outside of school?

Life outside of school is awesome. Being a part of the Huskers community feels great, although I miss Husker games.
