Lincoln, Neb. — The University of Nebraska – Lincoln Department of Animal Science will hold an open house Oct.26 at the Animal Science Complex on UNL’s East Campus. The event will be held from 6 to 8 p.m.
Youth and parents will have the opportunity to learn about degrees offered and careers involving companion animals, horses and livestock. Demonstrations and hands-on activities will give attendees a glimpse into what animal science majors experience every day. Various animal related organizations such as the UNL Equestion team, livestock and horse judging teams, Students for the Education of Exotic and Companion Animals Pre-Vet Club, and Block and Bridle will also be setup at the event.
