Thousands of Nebraska FFA members and guests be in Lincoln on April 3-5 for the 2019 Nebraska FFA State Convention. Convention activities include educational sessions, workshops, a career fair, a leadership academy, interviews and leadership skills events. Several of these events will take place on campus, so it’s a great opportunity to show potential students what the University of Nebraska–Lincoln has to offer!

On Wednesday, April 3 a special event will take place. To celebrate the accomplishments of these outstanding students, FFA members are invited to “Big Red Rock the Rec” from 3 to 5 p.m. at the City Campus Recreation Center. FFA members will be able to participate in rock wall climbing, bubble ball, dodgeball and more.

In order to host such a large group, IANR is seeking volunteers for a variety of roles:

  • Sign up FFA members for games and activities
  • Provide directions
  • General chaperone duties

Volunteers need to be available from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. on April 3.

If you would like to volunteer for this event, contact Sue Ellen Pegg at 402-472-0615 or spegg2@unl.edu.
