Volunteers are needed at the STEMing into the Future exhibit at the Nebraska State Fair in Grand Island.
STEMing into the Future is an interactive exhibit focused on all things Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). Through hands-on experience at the exhibit fairgoers will get to “Make! Tinker! Discover & Explore the world of STEM.”
At the exhibit, volunteers will facilitate an activity. A short training will provide volunteers the knowledge needed to conduct the activity.
Volunteers are needed Sept. 2 - 3 from either 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. or 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. to facilitate activities in the Nebraska Building. Volunteers will receive an entry ticket into the fair, a STEMing T-shirt and a fun experience.
