
Lincoln, Neb. —In light of recent developments regarding the COVID-19 virus, the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Department of Animal Science has postponed the 2020 Alumni and Friends Weekend Celebration.
The annual event, which had been scheduled for April 17-18, includes both the Block and Bridle Honoree’s Banquet, and the Alumni and Friends Reunion. The Animal Science Department is tentatively planning to host a joint event on Oct. 3, 2020. Details will follow, including confirmation of the Oct. 3 date.
Jerry D. Adams, a native of Broken Bow, Nebraska, will be recognized as the newest University of Nebraska-Lincoln Block and Bridle honoree.
The Block and Bridle Club is part of the Animal Science Department within the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources.
