Gudmundsen Sandhills Laboratory Open House Aug. 26

Lincoln, Neb. — The University of Nebraska-Lincoln Gudmundsen Sandhills Laboratory will host its 16th annual open house Aug. 26.

Presentations will be given throughout the day on various aspects of cattle and natural resources management. Businesses, services and associations supporting the beef cattle industry will participate. Activities, demonstrations and commercial exhibits are planned.

Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. and exhibits run from 8:30-3:30 p.m. Don Adams will give the welcome at 9:20 a.m.

Throughout the morning, speakers will discuss cattle markets, beef cattle genetics and a producer discussion on seed stock production. After lunch, participants will have the choice of attending two different sessions that focus on research updates.
