Inaugural Nebraska Integrated Beef Systems Hub Workshop to be held on October 19-20

University of Nebraska-Lincoln faculty and staff are invited to attend an in-person workshop hosted by the Nebraska Integrated Beef Systems Hub, Agricultural Research Division and Institute of Agriculture and Natural Resources. The event will take place on Oct. 19 at the AKRS Champions Club and the morning of Oct. 20 at the Nebraska East Union.

Lincoln, Neb. —University of Nebraska-Lincoln faculty and staff are invited to attend an in-person workshop hosted by the Nebraska Integrated Beef Systems Hub, Agricultural Research Division and Institute of Agriculture and Natural Resources. The event will take place on Oct. 19 at the AKRS Champions Club and the morning of Oct. 20 at the Nebraska East Union.

Part 1 of the workshop, at the AKRS Champions Club, will cover beef production within a framework of genetics, environment, and management in integrated beef systems. Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. with the sessions to follow at 10 a.m. Continental breakfast and lunch will be provided to all attendees and there will be an optional social hour to conclude the first day of events from 5-6 p.m.

Part 2 of the workshop will take place in the newly renovated Nebraska East Union Great Plains Room. The theme will cover societal concerns related to beef production, and sessions will begin at 8 a.m. Breakfast will be provided and begin at 7 a.m.
