LINCOLN, Neb. — The 16th annual Nebraska Winery and Grape Growers Forum and Trade Show is Feb. 28-March 2 at the Kearney Holiday Inn.

Speakers will include successful Nebraska grape growers, wine makers, grape enthusiasts and experts from Nebraska and neighboring states.

Two wine tastings and the March 1 banquet will be open to the public even if they're not attending the conference. Feb. 28 will feature "White Night," a tasting of white wines, and March 1 "The Other Big Red," a tasting of red wines.

The banquet will feature wines selected to match each course, representing some of Nebraska's finest wines.

About 30 vendors will be featured during the trade show, showcasing vineyard and winery tools, equipment, chemicals and items for sale in tasting rooms.

The new Nebraska Winery and Grape Growers Association executive director, Jennifer Montgomery, will provide insights on the state of the industry, as well as coordinate the trade show.
