Become an advocate—tell your story to your senator, or join us at the Capitol and tell them in person. Participate in the 2019 "I Love NU” Day; Wednesday, March 27 from 9 to noon.
An “I Love NU” Advocacy Day will be held at the State Capitol on March 27th, 2019. All students, faculty, staff and alumni are invited to participate and join other friends of the University at the Capitol to show support for NU, visit and speak with their senators, and share their stories.
You can visit the Advocacy Day Facebook event page for a detailed schedule and the meeting room number. The event will be held from 9 a.m. - noon, with supporters encouraged to arrive between 8:30 - 9:00 a.m.

Besides attending the “I Love NU” Advocacy event, faculty, staff and students who are looking for ways to show their support might consider the following:
- Write, email or call your senator to share your story and why higher education is important to you. You can find their contact information easily here using your street address.
