Lincoln, Neb. —Julie Obermeyer, College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources Career Development and Corporate Relations director at the University of Nebraska- Lincoln, was appointed to a one-year term on the Board of Directors for the National Agricultural Alumni and Development Association (NAADA).
Obermeyer will serve as the Awards Committee Chair and be responsible for recognizing NAADA membership and key volunteers within the organization by soliciting, reviewing and selecting nominations for the individual awards program.

I look forward to partnering with our board members as they include a diverse representation of individuals from all over the country,” said Pat Wilmington, NAADA President. “This diversity is vital to our organization enhancing mission-critical solutions to better serve NAADA and our universities as NAADA provides education, support and recognition for professionals and volunteers dedicated to expanding resources for advancing agriculture and related disciplines through land-grant and other college of agricultural sciences and partner programs.”
Obermeyer’s term of service began on June 23 with that of more than twenty other board members from across the United States following NAADA’s 45th annual conference.
