Why did you decide to come to the University of Nebraska-Lincoln?

In-state tuition is why I decided to come to UNL for under-graduate school and graduate school.

What is your favorite thing about University of Nebraska-Lincoln?

My favorite thing about UNL is CASNR because it is such a small town feeling and makes it feel a lot like home.

How has diversity and inclusive excellence played a role in your CASNR experience?

It has made my experience memorable and educational.

What is your favorite class you have taken so far and why?

My favorite class I have taken so far is Animal Science 100 because it diversified my knowledge about a lot of different animals.

What are your plans post-graduation?

After graduation I plan to go to vet school at UNL. After I graduate vet school, I would love to work alongside my dad, who is also a veterinarian.

What’s life like outside of school?

Life for me outside of school is very busy because I am avpart of the UNL rodeo team and on the executive team.

Sydney has received the following scholarships: Frontier Farm Bureau Scholarship, Frontier Farm Bureau Ambassador Scholarship, Medicine Valley FFA Work Horse Scholarship, UNL Honors Program Scholarship and UNL Rodeo Kimmel Foundation Scholarship.
