September 3 is UNL Red Out Day at the Nebraska State Fair in Grand Island. Hosted by the Institute of Agriculture and Natural Resources, College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources and the CASNR Alumni Association, an ice cream social and a pep rally highlight the festivities. The events are a wonderful way to interact with potential students, alumni and Husker fans across the state.
In order to provide an enjoyable experience, volunteers are needed to serve in a hospitality capacity. Volunteers are needed for the following:
Sunday, Sept. 3
1 – 3 p.m.
CASNR Ice Cream Social
Volunteers needed to scoop ice cream, welcome guests, assist with capturing names and email addresses
3 – 4 p.m.
Welcome at the Family Fun Zone Stage
Volunteers needed to build anticipation for pep rally, hand out free items to attendees
4 – 5 p.m.
Husker Red Out Pep Rally
Volunteers needed to assist with prizes and giveaways
