Wine and Grape Growers Forum Feb. 27-March 1 in Kearney

LINCOLN, Neb. — The 17th annual Nebraska Winery and Grape Growers Forum and Trade Show Feb. 27-March 1 will feature both state and national industry experts sharing their advice on everything from growing grapes to marketing the wine they produce.

The event will be at the Kearney Holiday Inn.

Keynote speakers the afternoon of Feb. 28 will be Keith Striegler, owner of Flint Ridge Winegrowing Services, who will discuss "Mechanization in the Vineyard;" Katie Cook, enology project leader at the University of Minnesota, whose topic is "What's New and Exciting in the University of Minnesota Grape and Wine Program;" and Danene Beedle, marketing director of the Missouri Wine and Grape Board.

Workshops are planned on Feb. 27 and the morning of March 1, and wine receptions are scheduled the evenings of Feb. 27 and 28.
