Years in Burr Hall: I lived in Burr Hall my freshman year, 1993-94

Major: Elemetary education/special education

Who was your favorite professor on campus? Kathy Anderson (I am a horse girl!) and Bob Reid

What is your favorite memory of Burr Hall? I enjoyed being on student senate and hanging out in the basement with friends. The Riverboat Dance is also a good memory. We rented buses and went to the Missoui River near Omaha. We got on a ferryboat with a DJ and floated down the Missouri and danced the night away!

Where do you live today? Smithfield, Neb.

What's your life like today? I am a substitute teacher and a rancher.  I have two kids involved in everything so I spend a lot of time going to sporting events, horse shows, cattle shows, and I am the education chair for Nebraska Cattlewomen.

The University of Nebraska–Lincoln is opening a new residence hall on East Campus. To celebrate the new hall and relive the memories of Burr and Fedde Halls, a special event is planned. Attendees at the Burr/Fedde and Friends Reunion on June 10, 2017, will get to experience Burr and Fedde Halls one last time, get a sneak peek of the new residence hall and connect with old and new friends. For more information, or to register Click Here.
